Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Support individual students in developing literacy, numeracy, and other essential skills.
- Plan and deliver tailored interventions, working 1:1 or with small groups to help students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
- Provide in-class support to encourage student engagement and academic progress.
- Assist with exam preparation and provide necessary support during exam periods.
- Work closely with students who may face additional challenges, including those with learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience or knowledge of working with children, particularly those with additional needs, though full training will be provided for those without prior experience.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to helping every student succeed.
- Work effectively as part of a team and possess a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Be adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced school environment.
While experience with special educational needs (SEN) or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties is desirable, it is not essential, as comprehensive training is available.
