Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety professional to lead our team in delivering world-class safety strategies across residential construction projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in influencing senior management and site-level operations to drive change and improvement.
About the Role
This position is responsible for:
* Leading the Health and Safety team to deliver strategy on site, ensuring compliance and excellence in all aspects of health and safety.
* Influencing and coaching key stakeholders to drive cultural change and promote a culture of safety excellence.
* Conducting thorough investigations into major health and safety incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
* Identifying opportunities for health and safety improvements and sharing best practices throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven leadership experience in a similar role, ideally within residential construction, with a track record of driving safety performance improvement.
* Experience in influencing and coaching senior management and site-level operations to drive behavior change and cultural transformation.
* A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and ideally Chartered Membership of IOSH, demonstrating expertise and commitment to health and safety professionalism.
* Experience in delivering health and safety strategies at site level, with a focus on prevention, risk management, and incident investigation.
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
