At TP Tutors, we’re seeking compassionate, proactive and engaging tutors to support children with Autism (ASD) on a one-to-one basis in Oldham (OL1). These pupils may be out of mainstream school for various reasons, and your role will be key in helping them progress both academically and emotionally.
What does the role involve?
* Providing 1:1 face-to-face tuition within the pupil’s home or a local community setting
* Planning and delivering creative, sensory-based and engaging sessions tailored to the child’s individual needs
* Supporting learning in core subjects such as Maths and English, or through play-based approaches
* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour calmly and effectively
* Helping build confidence, motivation, and routine in a nurturing way

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
