We currently have a permanent weekend post to join the team cleaning Public Toilets. The team are based at Bankhead, Glenrothes covering various areas in Fife working from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm, on a Sunday, 52 weeks per year, 9 hours per week this post has an hour break for lunch. Weekend enhancements are paid for this post.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro rata with access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is every 4 weeks.
Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

This work is about ensuring public toilet facilities are left in a clean and safe standard. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate

The Person
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work.
Driver’s licence required for Council Vehicle provided to carry out cleaning.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You will be required to attend Induction an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
