Description
You will be working as part of a small finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the qualified Financial Controller. As to be expected with working for a SME, your role will be extremely varied. However, during summer months, your role will be heavily focused on purchase ledger. Your varied duties will include, but will be not limited to:
1. Preparing the P&L and balance sheet for one company within the Group
2. Processing multi currency purchase invoices and posting to the nominal ledger
3. Calculating and inputting landed costs
4. Reconciling supplier statements
5. Posting accruals and prepayments
6. Posting wages and salary journals
7. Reconciling balance sheet accounts
8. Maintaining the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation
9. Produce quarterly VAT returns
