Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled clinician with leadership and management skills to take up the position of Senior Nurse for Physical Health at HMP Ranby. You will be supported by Clinical Matrons for Physical Health, Substance Misuse and Mental Health, GP's and other healthcare professionals in the wider healthcare team. This post will provide an opportunity to work innovatively to further develop and design the service to best meets the male population from a physical health perspective. Main duties of the job To work as part of the Healthcare Centre team leading in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs and appropriate care and treatment. Ensure the implementation of the National Service Frameworks and ensure maintenance of high standards of care to the prison population. To coordinate and lead the team as operational daily nurse in charge. To provide leadership, support for and supervision of the team.
