Job Purpose Summary:
Management and development of Warehouse Shift Management, Supervisors, and a team of Loading Operatives in a fast-paced FMCG environment, ensuring achievement of customer service levels whilst maintaining compliance and process quality standards to ISO 9001 within budgeted costs. To lead the development of the Warehouse Department to ensure compliance with Workplace, Food Hygiene, and Health and Safety Legal requirements.
Experience and Qualifications:
Possesses strong people management, organisational skills, and attention to detail. Self-starter able to plan and organise own workload. Possesses well-developed financial management skills and Profit and Loss experience, ability to set departmental budgets. Well-developed understanding of WMS and Pick and Pack technologies and continually updates own knowledge base and skills. Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team and promotes a proactive and inclusive working environment. Possesses excellent performance management and motivational skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Proficiency in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
