Currently we’re looking for a Technical Author to help us provide solutions on a project based in Scotland.
This client are a leading provider of highly specialised subsea solutions for the defence sector. They’re working on a programme to update a group of legacy products with a new component and require an expert Technical Author to take control of the documentation behind the update.
You’d be integrating with fellow engineers on the team and would work with them to understand the product line and then implement the necessary changes to the documentation. This will be an initial 6 month contract. After an initial period of working on site in the North of Scotland, a hybrid working arrangement can be considered.
We’re looking for skills in the following areas:
* Technical Author Experience
* Document Management Systems (DMS) Experience & Engineering Management Systems
* MoD / Defence Experience OR Marine Experience
* Microsoft Word Expertise
* Engineering Background, Understanding of Technical Documentation
* BPSS Clearance
* Desirable – Diving Equipment Experience or Pressure Equipment Experience
