The Role:
We are currently seeking talented professionals to join our team at various levels, including Accounts Senior, Manager, or Assistant Manager, depending on experience and qualifications. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to work on a varied client portfolio and contribute to the success of our growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervising and managing work on a varied client portfolio, mainly consisting of companies, but also including partnerships, sole traders, and personal tax clients.
2. Overseeing client deadlines and assisting the team in prioritising workloads effectively.
3. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS.
4. Preparing and reviewing management accounts, bookkeeping services, VAT returns, and corporation tax returns.
5. Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns.
6. Providing tailored business advice and consultancy services, including tax planning, financial strategy, business growth, and restructuring.
7. Developing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a regular point of contact for their needs.
8. Assisting with the training and development of junior team members.
9. Utilising accounting software and keeping up-to-date with advancements in accounting technologies.
10. Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, enhance efficiencies, and elevate client service.

About You:
18. Practice experience is essential, with ACCA or ACA qualifications (or equivalent).
19. A broad knowledge of accounts and tax, combined with a strong understanding of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
20. At least two years of post-qualification experience is preferred.
21. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
22. A proactive mindset, with a desire to progress and deliver exceptional service to clients.
23. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
24. A keen interest in contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
