Metrea Mission Data are now seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to help drive the development of a new geo-spatialawareness solution that will have impacts across a wide variety of areas. As The Business Analyst You Be Will Responsible For Shaping the development process by crafting clear and concise epics, features, and user stories, including clearly defined acceptance criteria. Working closely with the development team, including attending and preparing for sprint ceremonies. Carrying out some Scrum Master responsibilities to ensure products are delivered in an agile process that can adapt to evolving requirements. Working closely with the Product Manager to maintain a product backlog that ensures development is aligned to the product’s strategic goals. Understanding the business and end-user goals along with mapping out the as-is and to-be processes to achieve these. Drawing out requirements and pain points from end-users, documenting and communicating these concisely. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the product meets regulatory requirements. Supporting in the training and operational deployment of the product. What we are looking for? Our ideal candidate for this role would be someone with: Agile experience in a Software Development environment would be highly beneficial. This experience could come from acting as a Business Analyst, Software Tester, Project Manager, Product Owner or any job role that uses Agile methodologies. A deep passion for personal development with a drive to be constantly learning and furthering your professional knowledge. The ability to convey technical content clearly and articulately to non-technical team members. We are very much open to a range of experiences and backgrounds for this role. It is important that a candidate displays strong organisational skills and attention to detail, to enable detailed requirements writing whilst removing blockers that the development team may face. This role is product development focused and may be well suited to someone looking to develop in product management. Where will you be based? This is a hybrid role. Ideally, the candidate would be based on-site with the team in Harwell for a minimum of 2 days per week. Additional visits to the customer site or to MMD offices may be required from time to time.
