Sales Manager - £30-35,000 + 30% Bonus
The Sales Manager role is to drive sales and build strong relationships with businesses, clients, and key industry stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service while delivering successful events and achieving sales targets. This role allows you to experience different working environments from our London office in the heart of Soho, our amazing venues and a day working from home, this role is anything but boring.
Key Responsibilities
Enquiry Handling & Proposal writing:
* Manage and respond to all incoming customer enquiries with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring timely follow-up to secure bookings and maximise revenue opportunities.
* Develop compelling event proposals tailored to corporate client needs.
* Maintain a pipeline of prospective customers to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Responsible for all incoming reactive London Corporate enquiries and 3rd party portals.
* Track and follow up on all potential sales leads in a timely manner.
Venue Site Visits:
* Arrange and conduct venue site visits, showcasing the facilities and services available.
* Effectively communicate venue benefits, aligning with customer requirements.
Corporate Business Retention:
* Build and nurture relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
* Work closely with top corporate event agencies and third-party accounts to drive bookings.
* Provide outstanding customer service to address client queries and ensure satisfaction.
* Participate in familiarisation trips when required to showcase venue capabilities.
Event Planning and Coordination:
* Manage telephone and venue diary systems to ensure seamless scheduling.
* Conduct detailed venue site visits with potential clients.
* Prepare detailed function sheets and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team
Telephone and Diary Management:
* Handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently, ensuring all enquiries are logged
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date venue diary management, coordinating bookings and availability.
Upselling:
* Implement upselling initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities for existing bookings.
* Identify customer needs and offer additional products or services to enhance their experience.
Sales Target Achievement:
* Work towards achieving pre-determined sales targets set by the business.
* Regularly report on sales performance and pipeline progress to management.
Operational Support and Brand Representation:
* Act as an ambassador for the brand, always maintaining a professional image.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure the success of events.
* Stay updated on industry trends to keep the venue competitive and relevant.
