Job overview
We are seeking a person who has experience as a leader in People & Culture (or HR) and is looking to expand on these skills while delivering a multitude of exciting projects to become our next People & Culture Projects Manager.
The post's primary importance is in the innovative approach to the delivery of our People & Culture Services in line with our Trust Strategy. A keen interest in identifying, exploring, and delivering automation into our services is essential.
The post holder will be responsible for the creation and delivery of all new People & Culture service projects while supporting the People & Culture Service Desk Team Leader and Team with any complex People & Culture issues or queries.
Main duties of the job
As the People & Culture Systems Project Manager, you will act as a People & Culture system expert for both the staff e-rostering system and ESR (payroll database system commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care for the NHS). You will possess the ability to use the systems at a complex level, ensuring maximum usage and recognizing future systems development and utilization, benefiting the Trust and all system users.
You will deputize in the absence of the e-Roster or ESR Manager to oversee both day-to-day operations and the implementation of projects and delivery plans. You will also manage the People & Culture Service Desk, answering all first point of contact HR queries for both the Trust and 2gether Support Solutions.
You will analyze complex data, reports, and interpret statistical (including financial) data and draw conclusions. You will possess the ability to think strategically, analyzing complex issues while multi-tasking various projects in line with all deadlines.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Level 5 CIPD qualification (or working towards)
* PRINCE2 Qualified or working towards
* Project Manager Qualification or equivalent experience
Skills
* Using electronic systems that benefit the strategic direction of the organization.
* Excellent customer service experience, evidence of working at all levels.
* Experience in complaint resolution
* Understanding of Agenda for Change and Medical Terms and conditions.
* Confident in all MS Office programs to deliver clear and concise reports and project trajectories.
Experience
* Previous experience of managing a team and managing staff outside of own remit
* Minimum of 2 years in a Management/ Team Leader role
* A minimum of 3 years in a HR role
* Excellent customer service experience, evidence of working at all levels
* Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Previous NHS Experience
* Familiar with NHS-based systems e.g. ESR Self-Service
* Delivery of service transformation to automation
* Successful rollout of Medics Rostering project
* Project management and project completion
