Job Description:
Customer and Triage Support - Telco
NEW £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
Permanent, Full-time
Our client, a highly successful UK voice carrier based in Berkshire, is looking to recruit a person to work as part of a busy team providing customer support and pre/post-sales support.
This full-time role will be varied and interesting, requiring an adaptable candidate who is willing to embrace the many elements of this role working closely with the Telco technical specialists and other support teams.
Responsibilities include:
1. Communicating with clients via telephone, email, and in person.
2. Dealing with initial sales enquiries and following up sales leads.
3. Account management responsibilities.
4. Working with network partners to investigate and resolve faults.
5. Taking a share of out of hours customer support, managed by a rota, equating to approximately one evening per fortnight and one weekend day per month. This is covered remotely and often simply requires monitoring rather than actual time worked.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
1. Experience working as part of a busy team.
2. Flexibility and initiative to ensure superb customer service.
3. Excellent admin, time management, and organisational skills.
4. A strong eye for detail; taking pride in tasks being completed efficiently and effectively while putting the customer at the forefront of all interactions.
5. Strong communication skills, including a professional telephone manner and the ability to construct well-written emails.
6. Proficiency in Windows Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential.
7. Previous experience in a similar client-facing role; telecommunications experience will be a considerable advantage.
Location: The role will be based in offices in Theale, Berkshire; however, the team enjoys the flexibility of working from home as workload and commitments allow, which could be up to three days a week after an initial probationary period.
