We are currently seeking an Area Manager for a role in the Education and Learning sector in the Nottingham region.
Starting salary rises to £29,000 plus Benefits after 6 months in role. Annual pay reviews.
Working schedule : Hybrid.
Job Purpose
* Supporting associates, ensuring the growth and development of their businesses.
* Providing hands-on, practical support by mentoring, coaching and training, devising agreed business plans/targets.
* To conduct performance reviews, spotting and acting upon opportunities for improvement and working to resolve any problematic issues.
* To motivate others and inspire a culture of self-development, encouraging new ideas and initiatives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with others.
* Working with business owners and managers to proactively and effectively develop businesses in the Nottingham region, ensuring they maintain high standards of operational quality, meeting growth and achievement targets.
* To proactively and consistently provide guidance and support.
* Organising and co-ordinating regional company events (e.g award ceremonies)
* To develop, present and implement a full area annual strategy and action plan to senior management. To ensure objectives are fully met within the agreed timescales.
Essential Qualities/Qualifications
* Grade B and above in GCSE Maths and English.
* Experience in preparing and managing projects through to completion.
* Strategic thinker. Tenacious and focused.
* Strong presentation skills.
The successful candidate will be a professional, self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously, who has proven area management experience, strong presentation and communication skills. Naturally able to get on well with others, you will have experience of working to deadlines and a demonstrable experience of innovation, ability to spot new opportunities and ways of working. The ability to work well under pressure and on your own initiative, managing and prioritising workloads is important.
