Portsmouth Water is looking for a Network Planning & Administration Manager to lead our back-office administration team. This is a key role that involves: Planning & scheduling field activities, overseeing Streetworks administration and managing customer communications. You ll ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with company policies and industry regulations. You will also play a critical role in ensuring that customer queries and service requests are handled promptly and professionally. What will you be doing? Key Responsibilities Operational Planning & Oversight Plan and schedule network maintenance and repair activities. Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard, following Portsmouth Water s procedures and risk assessments. Monitor and report on key department activities, identifying opportunities for process improvements. Customer & Regulatory Compliance Ensure that all customer communications, permits, and approvals are in place before field activities begin. Oversee written and verbal customer contact, ensuring queries and complaints are handled professionally and efficiently. Support the Network Manager in investigating and responding to customer complaints. Financial & Contractor Management Ensure correct processing of orders and charges within operational and capital expenditure budgets. Oversee performance and relationships with external service providers. Check and approve supplier invoices where relevant. Incident Management & Emergency Response Participate in standby rotas and assist with operational incidents or emergencies as required. What do you need?
