Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at various sites within the Devon area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are conducted efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be supervising a team and managing various aspects of site operations.
Duties
• Supervise daily site operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure quality standards are met.
• Foster a positive working environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within groundworks & civils.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to site operations.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and clients.
• SMSTS and CSCS required. Other managerial based qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
