The Role of a Housekeeping Manager at The Glasshouse Hotel
As the Housekeeping Manager your role is integral to providing excellent customer service to our visitors who come to enjoy the relaxing facilities. You’ll start your shift with a meeting with the rest of the team to agree on duties and priorities for the day - our housekeeping assistants clean across 24 hours to ensure a suitable environment for our guests.
You will be responsible for the 24-hour provision of cleaning of the property to a high standard – planning rotas to meet the business need. You will hold responsibility for ensuring all health and safety requirements are trained and adhered to.
You will have good attention to detail, care about your job, and take pride in being part of creating an exceptional guest experience. Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a housekeeping capacity in a customer-focused environment with a proven track record of managing a team.
You will have good communication skills with the ability to communicate policies and procedures both verbally and in writing, have an awareness of safe working practices with attention to health and safety, as well as the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
