Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a first line IT Support with fluent/native German language skills to join their team in Chester on a full time, 12-month temporary basis (35 hours per week).
Extensive training and support will be provided to ensure a successful transition into this role. This means someone with similar experience is not essential; provided you have the ability to learn technical concepts with ease and have the linguistic capabilities, you could be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting internal customers with IT queries
2. Providing troubleshooting advice across hardware, software and internal applications
3. 1st line support tasks; troubleshooting tickets to resolution or escalation to 2nd line team
Requirements
1. Previous experience working in an IT support or customer service role particularly within the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry
2. Fluent in German
3. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical internal customers
4. Strong knowledge of MS Office
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Lives within 1 hour of Chester
