Description About the role: We are looking for a Senior Personal Assistant (Legal PA) to join our Pensions Team based in Birmingham City Centre working 21 hours per week. Gowling WLG has a multi award-winning pensions law team. We are around 50 Pensions Lawyers and 12 Personal Assistants, and we distinguish ourselves in the pensions law market by being good people to work with. Both the team and the firm as a whole regularly win awards for being a good place to work, for its diversity initiatives. Pensions operates as a single team across two UK offices, with roughly equal numbers in Birmingham and London. Most of our larger clients have lawyers from both offices on their client service teams. About you: As a Senior Personal Assistant within our Pensions Team team you will be responsible for: Client relationship management; take ownership of administrative aspects of the firm's client care programmes, adhering to any service level agreements and ensuring the fee earners are aware of them. Administrative; Extensive diary and inbox management, travel arrangements and document production. Experience of using iManage/Worksite or similar is essential. Financial; coordinate client billing and invoicing, client reporting and processing expenses. Experience with Expert or other financial systems is essential. Compliance; new matter opening and supporting internal teams on conflict management. As part of a wider team, you will be also have the opportunity to assist other PA's and work collaboratively with the business services team at the firm on all matters.
