THE ROLE:
* Follow up on all enquiries productively and proactively.
* Maintain the customer database.
* Create leads - discover prospective customers using a diverse range of methods.
* Create appointments with potential customers.
* Make outgoing calls to establish contact with potential customers and introduce the company.
* Recognise customer requirements.
* Provide information to potential customers such as product features, pricing and benefits.
* Establish and maintain relationships with potential customers, keeping in touch with them.
* Log and monitor sales activities and leads.
* Negotiate on pricing, address problems, and eliminate obstacles.
* General ad-hoc administration duties.
THE CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience within a telesales or business development role is crucial.
* Have a strong telephone manner and presence.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have strong attention to detail.
* Possess the ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
* Be motivated and resilient.
* Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Be a strong team player.
* Have customer service at the heart of what you do.
* Have strong IT literacy (Microsoft Excel and Word).
