Responsibilities
* Underwrite new business applications within mandate levels, ensuring full compliance with FCA guidelines.
* Provide professional and efficient service to all of Fluro’s customers.
* Review and verify income statements, tax returns and other financial documents to develop a borrower's profile and arrive at a credit recommendation.
* Support inexperienced team members within the MK office.
Key Objectives
* Achieving exceptional quality audit results via telephone, email & chat.
* Ensuring applications are reviewed in a responsible manner providing customers with outstanding service.
* Balancing quality and speed at work, while working under pressure.
Key Skills
* Several years’ experience in underwriting, ideally in a personal loan business environment.
* Commitment to exceptional customer service.
* Ability to cope under pressure and multi-task within a team.
* Ability to work flexibly where the demands of the role require (including assisting with inbound calls of a complex nature).
* Experience in fraud prevention techniques and/or worked in a fraud/investigations department.
* Experience in interpreting credit data.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Ability to maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy at an effective speed.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a small team.
* Ability to identify and record vulnerability when interacting with customers.
* Ability to use your own initiative, be flexible and open to fast-paced change.

This role will be based in the Milton Keynes area. You will be expected to be able to travel to London for the first week or so for training (expenses paid) but training will also be provided on-site. We work four days in the office, with one day working from home.
