City Elite Transaction Services are delighted to be working with a globally recognised Trading and Shipping firm, assisting them in their search for a Senior Contracts Analyst for their London office. The primary function of this role is to ensure data integrity and accuracy of risk undertaken by the business through a thorough trade verification and contract review process. The ideal candidate will help improve contract management processes and contribute to building a stable, quality-driven, and control-focused contracts desk. Duties Reconcile trades within the system. Review counterparty contracts, focusing on purchase agreements for bulk cargo transactions. Manage the full contract life-cycle and counterparty contracts. Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract terms. Manage the confirmation process for marine bunker deals. Maintain strong audit trails and document management best practices. Ensure best practice contract management at all critical control points. Identify process gaps and assist in implementing enhancements. Required Skills / Experience Experience as a Contracts Analyst within the physical commodities (Oil) sector. Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management. Strong knowledge with industry T&Cs and Incoterms. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Team-player mentality. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Experience in standardised confirmation processes is a plus.
