We are thrilled to collaborate with an innovative and forward-thinking organization in their search for a talented Back-end Developer. This company seamlessly integrates technology into every aspect of their operations, boasting a strong IT and Tech presence. Leveraging tools such as C# .Net 4.5 Framework / .Net Core / Code-First EF 6 / EF Core / ASP.NET Web API 2 / ASP.Net Core / JSON / LINQ / JWT / Entity Framework Plus and CQRS, the Senior Back-end Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the organisation's back-end services. These services support both internal and external applications. Additionally, as a senior team member, you will provide expert knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.
Your main duties will include:
1. Developing clean, reusable, and dependable code to meet business needs
2. Providing mentorship and support to help team members grow and excel
3. Championing best practices to deliver solutions that are scalable, efficient, and high-performing
4. Troubleshooting and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical challenges effectively
5. Defining and upholding rigorous code quality standards and ensuring thorough testing protocols
6. Creating detailed documentation to enhance team knowledge-sharing and project continuity
Skills and Experience required:
1. Previous experience within a similar role such as Back-End Developer / Senior Web Developer / Software Developer
2. Strong commercial experience of developing robust Web APIs together with knowledge of TDD, the Service-Repository pattern and Microsoft Azure cloud-based services
3. Highly proficient in C# and the .NET 4.5 framework / .Net Core
4. Strong understanding of SOLID principles, RESTful services and API design
5. Good understanding and experience of Domain Driven Design (DDD)
6. Commercial experience of Entity Framework 6 / Entity Framework Core
7. Good understanding of dependency injection, mocking frameworks, caching methodologies and the Service-Repository pattern
8. Ability to implement automated testing - unit tests, integration tests, smoke test etc
9. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps CI and CD pipelines
10. Experience monitoring and managing Microsoft Azure resources
