Join Our Client as a Technical Sales Manager!
Location: Flexible, with travel requirements, preferably near main motorway network
Salary: c. £60k - c. £90k OTE
About the Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and expanding their global customer base. Your role involves key account management, developing new business opportunities, and providing bespoke solutions using your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and agents.
2. Identify and develop relationships with new prospective customers.
3. Deliver high-quality, innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
4. Drive customer satisfaction and maximize profit.
5. Oversee the full sales life cycle and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and manage engineering change requests.
7. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and stay abreast of sector developments.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
2. Proven track record in converting opportunities into sales.
3. Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills.
4. Competence in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of engineering principles and automation solutions.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
6. Experience with electrical and pneumatic components, and interpreting engineering drawings.
7. Minimum HNC qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
8. Significant project management and engineering experience.
9. UK Driving License.
10. Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
