We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic team at Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead!
Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead is a busy residential multi-activity centre and holds lots of opportunities for personal and professional development through the wide range of activities and services we offer to Scouting and young people. Based in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Scout Adventures is the perfect base for the complete adventure package.
About the role
As an Instructor at Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead, you'll get to work with young people of all ages as well as adults, lead sessions, develop your skills, and be supported to really reach your potential. We’re experts in adventure, and this role involves delivering adventurous activities to our wide client base as part of a team of instructors. Your work will focus on our key customers of Scouts, schools and DofE but could also stretch into leader training and NGB delivery for those with appropriate qualifications. The role is forward-facing and will involve interacting with customers on a daily basis and representing the centre and Scouts Scotland.
We're looking for someone with a range of outdoor qualifications and a strong understanding of outdoor education principles and outcomes. Experience of working within the outdoor education industry is essential. Applicants with multiple NGBs are encouraged.

We're a values-driven, award-winning flexible employer. We want Scout Adventures Scotland to be the best place to work and offer a wide range of family and carer-friendly benefits to support work/life balance. This includes flexible hours, paid leave for volunteering and public duties, and additional leave for long service. We believe in supporting and developing our people, with a focus on wellbeing and continued personal and professional development.
