For this role, we are looking for a dynamic and empathetic person to join our busy Student Support team. The successful candidate will act as first point of contact for students seeking support with personal and welfare issues.
The role will involve working directly with students in relation to welfare, health and social issues and making referrals as appropriate. You will need to be able to liaise effectively with teaching staff and external agencies and have a compassionate and non-judgemental approach to working with young people and vulnerable adult students with a range of personal difficulties.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Prevent.

Status: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week worked over 3 days, Monday – Friday with flexibility to meet business needs with the possibility of more hours available.
This is a term-time only position for 37 working weeks. Payment will be for 42.36 weeks which includes the annual leave pro-rata entitlement of 33 days per annum (25 days plus 8 public and bank holidays).
Salary: £11,298.29 per annum (£22,869 per annum pro rata) which is point 19 on the College published salary scale.
