Warehouse Manager/Supervisor Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure smooth daily operations. Implement efficient stock control and inventory management processes, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing space utilization. Ensure on-time order fulfillment by coordinating closely with the sales and logistics teams. Introduce best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and develop a warehouse team, fostering a high-performance culture. Monitor staff productivity and adherence to procedures, ensuring operational excellence. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support. Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies. Carry out regular risk assessments and enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace incidents. Ensure warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and storage systems, is properly maintained and serviced. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to optimize logistics and delivery schedules. Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring minimal delays and high levels of accuracy. Drive cost-effective warehouse solutions, reducing waste and improving overall operational efficiency. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and stock control software. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
