Electrical Project Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 plus Car Allowance
We are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join a reputable Tier 1 client who is a market leader in the Construction sector. They are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Project Manager who can strengthen the existing team, delivering a large project in Cornwall. With overall responsibility for the management and success of the project, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental, programme, and the cost/value of operations.
Requirements:
1. Experience of managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme.
2. Ability to interpret the requirements of the specification.
3. Experience of managing procurement, labour, and sub-contractors.
4. Experience of stakeholder engagement and management.
5. Experience of controlling contract costs and variations.
6. Experience of co-ordinating M&E Services installations.
7. Experience of all health and safety requirements during the contract, including compiling method statements and risk assessments.
8. Compilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals.
9. Experience of managing contract values ranging from £2m and above.
10. BTEC: HNC Building Services.
11. BTEC: ONC Building Services.
12. CSCS card.
13. SMSTS - desirable.
14. IOSH directing safely - desirable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. To manage all Engineering Services activities in line with the company IPCD.
2. To manage all Engineering Services activities in line with the Project Process Document.
3. To manage the resources on the project on a day-to-day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.
4. Manage project commercial issues and cost reporting (WIP).
5. Identifying the clients' requirements and ensure we deliver these requirements to the clients’ satisfaction.
6. Representing the company on any internal or external issues.
7. Preparing detailed plans and procedures to administer the project and ensure the project team are familiar with and follow these guidelines.
8. Managing all project reporting is provided upstream and downstream in a timely manner.
9. Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.
10. Communicate with the project team regularly on project-specific matters and company initiatives.
11. To manage the project cash flow positively throughout the life of the project.
12. To manage procurement and achieve best value for Engineering Services.
13. Identify all risks and manage actions and implementation to mitigate such risks.
14. Issuing Health & Safety MDI – Drawing Schedule (PD01) report, Monthly Project Review report, and Monthly Project Manager report.
