The role sits within the Children s Placement and Brokerage Team, however, there will be scope to support the wider Start Well Commissioning Team. The remit of the Administrator will be to support the Placements and Brokerage Officers as they conduct a variety of searches for our Bolton children and young people, to source placements, based on internally quality assured referrals from social work teams. The role will involve supporting the team in all aspects of their office functions, including the maintenance of databases, recording systems and the sharing of information. Building relationships with colleagues and partner agencies across a wide range of external organisations and internal departments is key to this role so that we can ensure our children and young people are matched to the right placements. The successful candidate will work with collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure that care placements comply with the required national standards and appropriate regulatory bodies frameworks, ensuring that the relevant placement-related documentation is completed following placement agreement. About You We are looking for highly motivated, energetic person with great interpersonal skills and the capacity to support effective multi-agency working. You will be passionate and have the ability to work at pace in a challenging environment. You will have the ability to manage multiple objectives within timescales while achieving required outcomes. You will have excellent analytical skills and lateral thinking and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions. You will also have excellent IT skills, in particular Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. You must be capable of working on your own initiative to help drive and enable improved outcomes for the looked after children of Bolton.
