FJA are currently working with an industry leading client to recruit a MEICA Manager to strengthen their Operations team within the Southern Water Framework.

Responsibilities include:
* Full life cycle responsibility for MEICA quality and consistency; from project need establishment to commissioning handover.
* Design phase responsibility includes:
o Outline design – guiding standards for the Project engineers to provide the early MEICA delivery input into design development/optioneering.
o Detailed Design - establish a consistent approach to design review of supply chain submissions.
o Meet with Heads of Design to review quality, timeliness, and consistency of Design production. Develop relationships with designers and supply chain to help improve delivery.
* Support the Programme managers with resource planning, any Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Automation key issues as they arise, and oversight of construction issues and quality.
* Working with the Programme Managers, Procurement Manager and Ops Lead to establish framework wide procurement strategy.
* Management responsibility for Project Engineers & M&E Supervisors framework wide.
* Ensure all projects are being delivered in accordance with National and Local Technical Standards.
* Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
* Identify potential risks related to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
* Diligent Planning of the Southern Water SCO procedure to ensure that site compliance is maintained.
* Be fully conversant with MEICA subcontractor contract conditions, and any risks associated with their process or methodology.
* Ensure all projects are delivered with zero H&S and Environmental incidents and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the CMDP Health, Safety & Welfare and Environmental Policies.
The successful MEICA Manager must have:
* Experience in guiding a large team of MEICA staff.
* Previous experience in running MEICA.
* Extensive experience of the water supply industry.
* Proven ability to manage a large team in a multi-supplier environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract through experience and formal training.
* Knowledge and capability to influence internal stakeholders to guide the strategy.
