ERP Business Analyst - Help shape the future of Riverford
We’re rolling up our sleeves for a big change—introducing a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to simplify processes, help teams work more efficiently, and support sustainable growth. This is a significant step for us as an employee-owned business, and we’re looking for an ERP Business Analyst to help make it happen.
In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technology, working closely with teams across Riverford to ensure our ERP system and wider technology roadmap support our long-term goals. You’ll turn challenges into opportunities—helping teams work smarter, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
Salary: circa £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
Location - Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU. - Reliable transportation is required to commute to Wash Farm, as it is not accessible by public transport routes.
Hours - The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We encourage flexitime and hybrid working with a requirement to be on-site when needed
What You’ll Bring…
A practical mindset—able to analyse systems and processes, finding ways to make them work better.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, building relationships across the business to gather and refine requirements.
The ability to turn complex problems into clear, actionable solutions, from research to business cases.
Experience in supporting system implementation, working with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
A proactive approach to change, helping teams adapt through workshops, training, and ongoing support.
What We’re Looking For…
Business analysis experience in IT or technology projects, with a strong understanding of ERP systems, architecture, and data migration.
A practical problem-solver, able to break down complex challenges and turn them into clear, workable solutions.
Hands-on experience working with both in-house development teams and third-party software providers.
Adaptability in ways of working, familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and knowing when to apply each.
