We're looking to recruit a Finance Assistant for our busy head office in Glasgow City Centre.
This role would suit someone looking to take their first step into finance and offers the opportunity to develop your skills and progress further within our finance team.
Who are we?
Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA are a division of the global Aimbridge Hospitality brand, overseeing over 1,600 hotels and resorts across the world. We work with big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriot and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between.
What is in it for you?
As part of the Aimbridge family, you will have access to a suite of benefits that include:
* Hotel discounts portfolio wide – Staff rates from £25 per night and up to 50% discount on food & beverage and spa.
* Wagestream – Stream up to 40% pay as it is earned and set automatic savings to support your financial wellbeing.
* 24/7 access to our employee assistance programme.
* 30 days holiday.
* Flexible working policy.
* Season ticket – To help make your commute to and from the office more affordable.
* Company sick pay - Giving you peace of mind when you need it the most.
A day in the life of a Finance Assistant
You will look after all finance related data for several branded hotels across our portfolio. This will include overseeing the purchase ledger, setting up new vendors and processing invoices, and daily revenue and banking reconciliations. From time to time, you will be asked to support with other key processes within the wider finance team such as month end reporting.
Based in the Glasgow office, you will be part of a small (but mighty!) family of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock. That’s why, as well as our flexible working policy, we also have regular kick back beers, morning tea breaks and dedicated team nights out throughout the year.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, you will thrive working towards a deadline and have a keen eye for detail. Naturally, as part of our Glasgow team, you will enjoy working collaboratively with others and be able to effectively communicate key information to our hotels and stakeholders.
Ideally, you will already have working knowledge in an accounting function although full training will be given. However, we are looking for experience processing volume data.
So start your journey with Aimbridge Hospitality today. Your dream job awaits…
