We are inviting talented researchers holding a PhD and with no more than eight years of experience in research to prepare a competitive Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) proposal with the University of Bath as Host Institution.
Research Areas of Interest:

5. Sustainable and Vernacular Architecture Methods.
6. Structural Behaviour and Mechanical Properties of Traditional Materials.
7. Performance of Earthen Structures.
8. Constitutive Modelling for Traditional Materials.
9. Advanced Non-Linear Numerical Simulations.
10. Enhancing the Robustness and Resilience of the Built Environment.
11. Artificial Intelligence in Structural Engineering and Conservation.
12. Asset Information Modelling for Heritage Conservation.
13. Large-Scale Experimental Testing of Sustainable Materials.
14. Digital Twins, Industry 5.0, and Regenerative Design.

Fellowship Types:
Two different fellowships are available:
1. European Postdoctoral Fellowships: Open to researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe from another part of the world. These fellowships can last between 1 and 2 years.
2. Global Postdoctoral Fellowships: Fund the mobility of researchers outside Europe, lasting between 2 to 3 years, with a mandatory return phase to an EU Member State.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. Hold a PhD at the time of the call deadline.
2. Have a maximum of eight years of research experience post-PhD.
3. Comply with mobility rules.
4. Demonstrate a strong research background in relevant topics.
Main Supervisor:
Your main supervisor will be Dr Alejandro Jiménez Rios, a Lecturer in Structural Engineering. He brings a wealth of experience in navigating the intricacies of the application process.
Host Institution:
The University of Bath is a leading UK research and teaching institution, located in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath.
