ABOUT THE ROLE
Our people are central to our success and we’re now looking for a Junior People & Operations Executive to join our growing team and help build the future of a fast-growing start-up!
You’ll be joining People & Operations (P&O), an existing team of two, to support and own various activities across people and business operations. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, supporting our team members, and fostering a thriving workplace culture. This includes managing day-to-day tasks to ensure that operations run smoothly, as well as being involved in wider P&O function activities.
For this role, we are looking for an organised and true people-person with a passion for supporting great teams. You should have a self-starter attitude to getting things done and enjoy collaborating with others. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple P&O areas and grow professionally as you will be gaining unique exposure to the ins and outs of the business’ full operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Recruitment: Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, coordinating and leading interviews, managing candidate communications, organising career fairs & events, liaising with our Marketing Manager, processing references and right-to-work checks.
* L&D: Coordinate training and development programs, including supporting the design of future courses, scheduling and communicating the training plan, as well as gathering post training feedback.
* Employee Experience: Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives by championing a seamless onboarding journey for new hires and fostering our vibrant culture through organising exciting internal events, team-building, and social activities.
* Operations: Support essential people and business operations activities crucial for the growth of a start-up, including managing expenses, invoicing and purchase orders, collaborating with our Accountants on VAT reconciliation and Tax Relief submissions.
* Executive Assistance: Manage all office operations, organise travel and hotels, book meeting rooms, handle company email and phone communications and any associated activities.
* Ad-hoc: Additional opportunities to gain exposure and actively develop across all facets of P&O.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative role, preferably within a startup environment.
* Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills.
* A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys working collaboratively.
* A proven ability to multitask and prioritise.
* Creative and enthusiastic approach to enhancing the workplace culture through various initiatives.
* Professional working proficiency in English.
