We are now looking for a Principal Systems Development Officer to join our Swansea/Carmarthen campus. We would like to encourage applications from individuals seeking full time, job share or part-time opportunities.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the university’s Information System Development team and other departments in the University, the Business Analysis Principal Systems Development Officer’s role is to be responsible for the main analysis and specification of new software or amendments to current software with particular regard to the Tribal SITS student record system software.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Good general level of education
* Experience of Business Analysis in a medium to large complex environment
* Evidence of stakeholder engagement to capture requirements
* Experience of producing requirement and design specifications to deliver to a development team and responding to queries through the development stage
* Experience of seeing software development through to testing and sign off
* Demonstrate experience of software development lifecycles
* Working knowledge of SQL and databases sufficient to interrogate databases
* Experience in providing high quality software systems support
