We require a COSS (Controller of Site Safety) for various shifts in Oxted and Crowborough for a rail subcontractor undertaking tunnelling works. The works are across various local locations on Sunday 2nd February with other works likely to come in on other weekends. TO START - Sunday 07:00 to 19:00 The COSS is responsible for: The safety of their group, and ensuring that all within the group follow the Network Rail Safety Guidelines outlined in the rule book and implementing Leading from the front in performing all duties Assist in the planning of tasks Work closely with the SSOW planner and follow the Safe System of works. Ensure that the health and safety of all workers are signed onto the Safe System of Work Pack (SSOW pack). All works completed to the highest levels, quality and issues relating to the completion of work escalated through the correct channels. Fully brief all members of the work group on all aspects of the SSOW pack ensuring they sign the SSOW pack following the brief.
