Airband is now looking to recruit an Engineering Co-ordinator who is immediately available on a 3 months Fixed Term Contract (may extend)!
This 3 month fixed term contract is offering a salary of £25,461 (pro-rata) + benefits!
Working as part of our Connections & Installs Division here at Airband, the role will be based out of our Droitwich office with a hybrid working model (2 days per week in the office). This is a varied and interesting opportunity responsible for providing a pivotal point of contact for our Engineering and Civils teams and external contractors.
You will also collaborate with other internal Teams and Divisions across Projects, Sales & Fibre Planning teams, adding diversity to the role. Essentially, you will ensure an efficient workflow of engineer activities and organization, steering positive progression of workflow planning and issue management through to completion, while maintaining a positive customer experience through regular communication with stakeholders and customers as necessary.
What are we looking for?
* As Engineering Co-ordinator, you will need great administration, co-ordination, and communication skills with the ability to work with a broad and varied customer base.
* You will liaise with business colleagues across other Airband Divisions.
* We need a multitasker with great observational and analytical skills, comfortable with the life cycle of projects, who enjoys taking responsibility for reports and administrative solutions.
What your day will look like:
* Working with relevant teams both internal and external to Airband to ensure the installation/maintenance & service of Airband’s fibre & FWA networks from site to the customer premise are as efficient and effective as possible.
* Interpreting in-depth site survey reports for fibre deployment (Overhead, underground, and the proposal of alternative routes for fibre deployment).
* Liaising with external companies and agencies to facilitate the installations required, such as Joint User Pole agreements, Traffic Management, and Wayleave.
* Assisting other Airband engineering teams across the UK where necessary to support customer needs or project timescales.
* Liaising with both colleagues and customers; keeping in regular contact & providing updates/reports as necessary to stakeholders.
* Conducting utility/line searches when necessary to ensure the team is working safely.
* Reporting to the Network Delivery Manager daily on any issues/risks that may delay the agreed workflow with a more detailed report of work completion, achievements & issues as required.
* Scheduling work tasks for all engineering teams on Salesforce or equivalent systems, ensuring all work is accounted for and documented.
