SEN TA:
Location - Altrincham
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school in Altrincham who are requiring an SEN TA to join their team and support a child with ADHD on a 1:1 basis. This is a full-time role looking to start in September, and the pay will range from £89-£100 per day dependent on experience. It is an excellent opportunity to work at a great school with supportive and welcoming staff. The school is also situated near various public transport links and there will be access to staff car parks.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience with SEN pupils.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Knowledge of how SEN, in particular ADHD, can affect learning is crucial.
* The ability and knowledge to create a tailored and engaging learning environment.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has ADHD. You will liaise with the classroom teacher and the SENCO to provide regular feedback on the pupil's progress to ensure they can reach their full potential.
