Job Role: Mechanics Tutor Contract: Full-time, term time only (39 weeks per year) Salary: £107.69-£133.34 per day Start: Immediate start available Bookmark is currently recruiting for a passionate mechanics tutor to join our dedicated team in Mansfield. In this role, you’ll play a key role in delivering our tailored mechanics curriculum to small groups of learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours. You’ll work closely with our teaching team to engage young people in automotive skills and practical, hands-on learning that supports personal and academic growth. We Need: We’re looking for someone with a background in automotive mechanics or a related trade who can connect with young people and foster both their practical skills and personal development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hands-on, and prepared to teach a range of automotive repair and maintenance techniques. Experience working with learners with SEN who may sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours is advantageous. Resilience, adaptability, and a calm approach to managing these situations are essential. Additionally, travel between sites within the locality may be required, so a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
