The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint a highly-motivated and conscientious School Business Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our school team. Previous experience of a busy school office is desirable.
As Business Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of financial and budgetary management, human resources, estate management, health & safety, and whole school administration.
The successful candidate will:
* Put pupils first in everything they do to ensure the school provides quality services for all our stakeholders and strives for continuous improvement to that service.
* Be supportive of the school’s ethos
* Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, and be able to manage and communicate effectively with people at all levels
* Have consistently high expectations of themselves and their colleagues
* Have excellent organisational skills
* Have experience of a range of financial responsibilities including managing a budget, accounting for cash and preparing accounts
* Be able to ensure the school’s compliance with sound principles of school finance and best value including budget planning and monitoring.
* Be responsible for the effective management of the school buildings including health & Safety and the environment.
* Uphold and actively promote the school’s vision and values.
* Provide strategic leadership and support to the Headteacher across all non-teaching areas of the school.
