Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Aylesbury
Pay: £90-£95 per day
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience within a well-resourced SEN school? We are actively recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work within an alternative provision school that supports and educates children with Autism, Mild Learning Difficulties, and Mental Health Challenges!
This is a very diverse 1:1 Learning Support role. You will be working with boys and girls in Year 3 to Year 11, all of whom will have either Autism, MLD, or SEMH, potentially a blend of all three.
This is a full-time, term-time only role, with start days available in January, February, or April. We are interviewing now, with immediate trial days.
The key aspect of this role is to demonstrate to the students the value of their education, be it in the core subjects, vocational, sports, or creative areas. You will be responsible for setting the foundations to provide a safe environment for your students in which to learn and give them opportunities to make positive life choices.
There is a huge focus on restorative practices and positive reinforcement. This role is ideal for aspiring Forensic, Clinical, Education, or Forensic Psychologists, as well as aspiring Youth and Criminal Justice Officers.
