Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Extensive senior leadership experience within the NHS, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, policies, and the challenges facing the sector. A track record of successfully leading complex transformation programmes and achieving measurable improvements in performance, financial outcomes, and operational efficiency. Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable, impactful plans. Experience working closely with Board-level executives and leading transformation initiatives with broad stakeholder engagement, particularly with partners across Place and system partnerships. Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, creating strong collaborations and partnerships across multiple organisations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and lead diverse teams to achieve shared goals.
