We're seeking a Logistics Operations Team Leader to join us and drive efficiency and collaboration on a weekday night shift pattern. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Logistics floor activities during the night shift to ensure seamless operations, ensuring efficient booking processes, supporting the metal shop, facilitate the start of picks for the next day, and address any non-conforming work orders through reporting. As a Logistics Operations Team Leader your main responsibilities will be: Supervise and monitor all movements across the logistics floor during the night shift. Ensure workflows are managed effectively to maintain operational efficiency. Verify that all goods and materials are booked in correctly and accurately in alignment with internal systems and procedures. Address and resolve any discrepancies to maintain inventory integrity. Provide logistical support to the metal shop, ensuring their operational requirements are met. Coordinate timely delivery of materials and address any bottlenecks or issues. Oversee and initiate picks for the next day’s operations, ensuring readiness for the day shift. Collaborate with relevant teams to confirm priorities and deadlines. Identify non-conforming work orders and raise MPI reports as required. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve issues promptly. Provide guidance, supervision, and support to the logistics team during the night shift. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company policies. Act as the main point of contact for logistics-related matters during the night shift. We are looking for a Logistics Operations Team Leader with the following skills and experience: Proven experience in a logistics or warehouse team leader role, with prior night shift team leadership experience preferred. A strong understanding of booking-in processes and inventory management systems. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (ideally D365) and inventory control processes. Familiarity with manufacturing and metalworking shop operations is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of MPI processes or equivalent quality improvement methodologies.
