As the Cyber Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all activities of the Security Intelligence team, ensuring excellent customer service is provided and SLAs/KPIs are met.
As Cyber Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing the day-to-day 24x7 Security Intelligence environment to ensure that Softcat's procedures, processes and working practices are followed
* Acting as management point of escalation – including but not limited to, hierarchical, technical and customer escalations
* Working alongside the line manager to ensure team members are skilled, trained and developed to enable them to deliver high quality products and ensure direct reports are working towards their Personal Development Plans
* Ensuring integration, release and operational procedures and practices are well defined, documented and consistently applied
* Managing identification of areas of automation in existing platforms to drive efficiency
We'd love you to have
* Relevant Security industry certifications, CISSP/CISM
* Strong understanding of sophisticated threat actor methodologies, along with experience in incident response and forensic investigations
* Alienvault, Sentinel or similar knowledge
* Swimlane (or similar) tool knowledge
* Strong knowledge of ITIL processes
* Previous experience of implementation of technical systems and procedures to minimise risk
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask and prioritise
