Learning Support Assistant - September Start
SEN School & Alternative Provision in Portsmouth!
Academics are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join a Special School and Alternative Provision in Portsmouth, for young people across yr3 - KS4, who have a range of range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs and / or medical needs
They are looking for strong yet empathetic Learning Support Assistants who are available to start in September on a full-time, on-going contract. There is the opportunity there for a permanent contract if this is of interest to you.
You will be required to support pupils on a 1;1 and small group basis. Due to the nature of the environment this would be suited to someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours in an SEN/SEMH school, although not essential.
