Personal assistant required for a bright, eloquent and creative nine-year-old girl who lives near St Austell.
She is autistic and thrives with one-to-one support from someone she can build a positive and trusting relationship with.
The role involves helping her safely access a range of activities both at home and in the local community. As she is home-educated, weekday availability is essential.
She is a talented artist with a passion for art, sketching, painting, and clay modelling. Her interests also include playing the piano, trampolining, swimming, yoga, attending Stagecoach, listening to Taylor Swift, going to the cinema, enjoying Harry Potter, and playing Roblox and Minecraft.
The rate of pay starts at £12.00 per hour with the potential for an increase based on the candidate's skills and experience.
There are 8 hours per week available, with flexible scheduling to suit the right candidate's availability. Preference is given to those with morning availability.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
