What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who really cares about helping our children to succeed.
We are looking for someone who is kind and reliable, has a passion for working in the classroom or one-to-one, is enthusiastic and builds rapport well with staff and students alike.
To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge of current practices on supporting children’s learning and behaviour management strategies. You will hold an NVQ for Teaching Assistants or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
This is an ideal position if you are considering a career in teaching. It will give you an opportunity to see different teaching and learning styles, as well as experience and appreciate wider school life.
In this role, you will work 32.5 hours per week at 39 weeks, term time plus INSET days.
