My client, a global leader in their domain, is searching for a Service Desk, Help desk Analyst to join their team in Hatfield. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests, ensuring that end-users receive timely and effective support.
This is a hybrid role requiring you to be on-site 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-line support for IT incidents and service requests.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
3. Log and document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the service desk system.
4. Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
5. Assist with the setup and configuration of hardware and software.
6. Maintain excellent communication with end-users and keep them informed of progress.
Skills and Experience Required:
7. Proven experience in a service desk or IT support role.
8. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
9. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
