West Berkshire Council is seeking a DBV Programme Coordinator to join the Children and Families Services Directorate, reporting to the SEND Strategy Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the coordination and administration of the Innovation in SEND programme, working in partnership with schools, providers, and other stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for our local community. As the DBV Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Organising and coordinating strategic meetings, working closely with the meeting chair(s) to develop agendas. Maintaining accurate records including detailed meeting minutes, action trackers and risk logs, ensuring clear accountability and progress monitoring. Working in co-production with key stakeholders including the Parent/Carer Forum, health, education and social care colleagues. Undertaking specific projects and tasks under the guidance of the SEND Strategy Officer. This role is essential in ensuring the effective coordination of the Innovation in SEND programme, enabling the successful delivery of the actions outlined in the SEND & Inclusion Strategy 2024-2029. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a range of stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting. Ability to work independently, using initiative, as well as part of a team. Knowledge or experience in the field of special educational needs and disabilities would be advantageous.
