What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
* Expertise in creating high level designs and implementation of enterprise mobility management software (preferably Workspace One and Intune) to manage mobile devices (running iOS and Android OS) for large and complex organisations.
* Significant depth and breadth of technical knowledge and experience across infrastructure services, including strong experience with public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, container, and networking design patterns, tools and best practice (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), along with a strong understanding of information security, infrastructure as a code and continuous integration/continuous deployment.
* Significant technical authoring skills, particularly for the production of technical design and specification documents.
* Proven experience in delivering technical services focused on user needs and using ITIL for improving services in a large and complex IT Service Management landscape.
* As an inclusive leader and line manager, it is essential that you can demonstrate the ability to build capability into teams, inspiring and motivating individuals to be fully engaged and execute your vision and strategies.
You and your role
As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer specialising in Mobile Device Services, you will be a skilled leader and an expert in design, build and operations of network and mobile services for large scale organisations.
You will be responsible for product technical strategy and direction for entire spectrum of enterprise mobile services including device management, infrastructure, apps, hardware and controls.
You will lead on delivering architectural and roadmap developments within mobile services area, whilst providing specialist knowledge and experience to input into the wider digital infrastructure strategy and development roadmap.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool, Manchester or Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £89,995.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth over £20,000 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
